New Document LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE


Landscape architecture is one of the most diversified Field of the design professions. It is comprehensive
by definition-encompassing the artistic planning, design, management, preservation and rehabilitation of
the land.
Landscape architects touch on all the design fields.
While having a working knowledge of architecture, civil engineering, and urban planning, landscape
architects take elements from each of these fields to design aesthetic and practical relationships with the
land.

Landscape architecture involves in the planning of sites, landscape design, outdoor space design,
ecological planning, urban planning, parks planning, urban design, and recreation planning. It also
includes natural resource surveys, preparation of environmental impact assessment, visual analyses,
and landscape

reclamation focused on the suitability of a site for development. We also have a special commitment to
improving the quality of life through the best design of places for people and other living things. Landscape
architects also develop plans for huge natural areas as part of national park, forest, and wildlife refuge
systems. It means landscape architecture is the study of the interaction between people and the natural
environment.

According to the public's desire for better spaces, and its expanded concern for environmental protection,
we, the members of the department of landscape architecture, have designed projects including urban parks,
recreation facilities, and eco-streams based on technical knowledge as well as aesthetic knowledge.
We do our best to meet the demands for a high quality of life.

Space for pedestrian Side-Walk in
Geumcheon-gu

Located on 970m of pedestrian Side-Walk
near Mt.Gwan-ak , Geumcheon-gu, Seoul
The Seoul City government promote the
project named ¡®Walklike (pedestrian)
walkways¡¯.
And This is the first step on improvement of
pedestrian walkways that will feature the
introspection of Korean walkways.

Bupyeong-gu, Incheon City.
The goal is to give the meaning of
representative park in Incheon and to meet the
citizen's diversified demands for having
abandant green space.

Located on 1,650m of waterfront of jung-rang
stream.
Elements(Recreational and Athletic Facilities,
Pergola, benches, bollard, facilities etc.) are
placed in a streetscape for comfort
appropriately.
